Are you out of room for your Farmville animals ? Do you have more decorations than you can fit on your farm? You don’t have to use Farmville cheats to expand your farm. With Farmville’s land expansion option it is possible to turn your farm into a huge plantation. You will be able to maximize XP and coins by buying upgrades.
The upgrades currently available are Homestead, Family Farm, Big Family Farm, Plantation, Big Ole Plantation and Mighty Plantation.
Homestead
Homestead is the first land expansion available in Farmville. This expansion is sized 14×14. You will have to pay 10,000 coins for the Homestead. You are also required to have at least 8 neighbors. You can’t expand if you have the coins, but not the neighbors.
Family Farm
The Family Farm is the next upgrade. Your farm will be 16×16 after you expand to the Family Farm. In order to expand to the Family Farm you will have to have 10 neighbors and 25,000 coins.
Big Family Farm
Once you have 13 neighbors and have upgraded to the Family Farm, the Big Family Farm can purchased. The size of your farm will then be 18×18. This upgrade can be bought with either coins or farm cash. You need 50,000 coins or 20 farm cash.
Plantation
The fourth expansion , the plantation, is 20×20. 16 neighbors or more is what you will need for this expansion . You can either use your coins or farm cash. You need to have 75,000 coins or 20 farm cash. If you purchase using your farm cash, you don’t need to have 16 neighbors.
Big Ole Plantation
The Big Ole Plantation upgrades your land to 22×22. You’ll require at least 20 farmville neighbors to upgrade. 250,000 coins will get you this upgrade .
Mighty Plantation
Last January 22, this upgrade was made available to Farmville fans. All Farmville players can’t get this upgrade . You need to be a fan to be eligible for this expansion .
Right now , the Mighty Plantation is the largest farm expansion available. To level up to Mighty Plantation, you need 500,000 coins and 30 neighbors. Instead of coins you can also use 60 farm cash.
It is important to remember that you need to upgrade your land in succession. You have to get the Homestead before you get the Family Farm, for example. You can’t skip over an upgrade . You will not be able to see the buy button below the land if you haven’t upgraded to the smaller land upgrade or do not meet the requirements. Also, don’t forget that in addition to the coins or farm cash, you need the required number of neighbors.
